It features a perfectly round silver ceramic watch case that measures 23mm in diameter (0.97 inches), which flows smoothly into the bracelet band that mixes scalloped silver ceramic pieces with stainless steel connecting links. The silver dial features thin silver hands (with seconds hand) in addition to the diamond markers. The raw material for Rado's high-tech ceramics is a very fine powder that is pressed or injected into a mold. The powder is compacted into scratchproof ceramic parts in a sintering blast furnace of 1,450 degrees Celsius. These parts are given a brilliant shin by polishing with diamond dust.
